If you prefer to take the less beaten path, Main River Safari has the snowmobile trek for you. Besides the snow ladened wonder of centuries-old virgin forest surrounding Main River there is more to please the eye.

Main River Safari will take you over wonderous snow covered barrens carved from the last Ic Age. One of the best features of the trek includes an excursion to the Western Brook Pond Gorge. Part of the Gros Morne National Park system, the gorge is virtually inaccessible by any means except by air and by ferry in the summer. The gorge itself was formed by the last Ice Age and contains unique geological structures - making this area a UNESCO world heritage site.

Room to breathe - with miles of open land, coupled with the pristine forested valley of Main River and topped off with the majestic awe of Western Brook Pond Gorge area, will keep you on your toes and maintain your snowmobiling experience at peak levels of excitement and wonder.
